I've had a problem with UPS that almost got me to get out a lawyer and sue the hell out of them.

UPS has or had what they call home drivers. These are people they hire to deliver packages on their way home from work. And at the time, we lived in an apartment. We were not yet married and we ordered a wedding candle for the wedding. Well, the home driver delivered it by leaving it in the PUBLIC entry way of the building. We were home and the driver either rang the wrong bell or did not ring the bell.

We thought we would be without the candle for the wedding. Well, I called the person who made the candle and explained what happened and she made a new candle for us and had it Fedexed out to us very fast. She was wonderful and now her business uses Fedex instead of UPS.

UPS almost got sued if things had not worked out.
