I agree - Kindles (ereaders) in a hospital are required equipment.
A few months ago, I spent a day in a hospital waiting room as a friend underwent angioplasty. A Kindle loaded with Nero Wolfe titles saved my sanity! Your Kindle seems to have worked for you!
