I think it's very fluid - but I'm not exactly sure what you mean by that. It sort of flashes as it goes to the next page - the same as any e-reader.
If you're talking speed, it's good. Kindle 3 is of course going to be faster, but besides that from what I've heard the nook is about as fast or faster than the rest, and the nook 2 will hopefully be as fast as the Kindle 3.
And I second the page swipe feature. It's awesome!
