Wow, I just read this thread and I'm late to the party.
It is really tragic to see things like this happening to good people, but on the other hand, it is really good to see that it is not going to kill you.
I can't say that I know you from before the operation, but I can tell just from your first post in this thread that you're a good person and worthy of our thoughts & moral support.
Maybe you can read this thread as part of your reading exercise and recovery. I admit that I only read the first 20 pages of this thread. I hope everything is still going well and that we'll see you again soon here with another update.
