I'm having HUGE difficulty installing this new firmware update. I've done everything like I've done it before. I've:
- downloaded the file above for the 360
- unzipped and extract the file
- transferred it to the root directB360 off
- I've held the centre button and the upper wing button while pushing the start button
(it's plugged into my laptop all the while)
Now instead of going through the firmware here, it keeps starting the reader. I've deleted the firware update from the card multiple times. I've downloaded the file twice to make sure I downloaded the right one. I've rebooted my laptop.
I even went so far as to delete the file off the card and put it in the root directory of the device itself (which I had to do when I first got it because I didn't have a card).
I can't think what else to do, I've literally been trying to do this for nearly an hour and a half. I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my upper wing button. I noticed yesterday that most (if not all) of my reboots (every 10-20 pages with 15.2) happen when I use the upper button to turn the page.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm extremely close to going back to factory settings to see if that helps.
I had trouble installing the last update as well, but at least that time I was getting the firmware messages. This time it's not even giving me that. It goes from off to the boot logo.
