Just reading is what Pocketbook 360 allows you to do. Pocketbook will still be producing that device, and eventually they should refresh it later on.

However, big screen devices should not be "just for reading", in the sense that they're quite costly of themselves and they're the only devices in which you have a chance to see PDF's properly. If you've seen the "Which device should I buy" subforum, it's choking full with people who ask about big readers for academic purposes. So far their only real eInk option has been Kindle DX (Sony's Daily Edition is a missed shot with its wacky screen size), a device with no touch screen and with a reportedly mediocre PDF support (though it's been improved recently if I remember properly). It was about time that someone faced Amazon.
