I still have a Palm TX, and I still use it. When I bought it three years ago I talked the Staples store manager into a $50 discount so I paid under $250. Oddly, this is one of the only tech gadgets I ever saw go up in price -- eventually it was selling for $325 or more. It's real selling points are WiFi and Bluetooth. I can link to a WiFi network and use a small portable keyboard to do anything anyone can do on the Web. I also still keep all my personal contacts on it, and they're backed up on an SDHC card. I can travel without a laptop since I have this.
I also have an older Tungsten E that does throne room duty. It's battery is shot, so a charge is good for only an hour or so. The battery is quite troublesome to replace, and since it has no connection capabilities (other than "beaming") it hasn't much value.
Not sure why anyone would ask this question, but that's my answer, at least today.
