It's a corporate device that connects with MS Office. A pretty good PDA in general, but frankly, I liked my personal device much better (a Treo700p, which unfortunately I can't make work with my Vista 64 PC). Reading anything, even a short message, on the Blackberry is extremely difficult for me. The fonts just plain suck; but reading on the Treo, or any older Palm device was a reasonably comfortable experience for me (even the Palm 100).

I also liked how there were many many free or very cheap apps available for Palm OS4 and earlier. The available apps for this BB are about as lame as the built-in ones and they cost a fortune.

The big dogs at my company have been smitten with Apple devices lately. (All the execs got an iPad). I suspect that as our contracts expire, we will be going to iPhone. That won't be too bad I guess but I think AT&T service isn't nearly as reliable as Verizon and we are a company that relies more and more on our ability to communicate with each other. I'd probably prefer Verizon and Android over AT&T and iPhone.
