I see no contradiction between what you said and what I said.

In any case I agree with you.
I used the MSRP 'cause that's more common, but could be any price.
Given that retailers get volume discounts the MSRP helps prevent that the big fishes take advantage of that hurting the rest of the distribution chain.
Of course I could be wrong, this is not my area of expertise.
