I can't help you if you don't answer my questions. To whit: "Can you see using a file explorer the removable disk for the 900's memory? Is the memory formatted -- can the 900 see it?" The debug output is clear -- the drive representing your 900's memory is not there. The question is why.
As for your macbook, what version of calibre is on it? Calibre hasn't 'looked for PRS700' for quite some time.
