I don't know what I'ed rather be doing,
but I know I'ed rather be doing something.
Maybe even something else.
That would be something, wouldn't it?
Then I could say what I'ed rather be doing,
instead of that I would rather be doing something,
But I'm not.
Because I don't know what I'ed rather be doing.
I just know that I would.
Rather be doing something.
If I knew what it was that I'ed rather be doing.
This is kind of fun,
but I don't think I would rather be doing this.
Sometimes, I rather I wasn't doing anything.
Even if I'ed rather be doing nothing.
Which is entirely different from rathering to not be doing anything.
Rathering to do nothing is much more involved.
Still, it beats rathering to do something,
and not knowing what I'ed rather be doing.
W.C. Fields once said: "All in all, I'ed rather be in Philadelphia".
Which was good enough for him.
Still, I'ed really rather not.
Honestly, I'ed rather not think about it,
But that's not what I'ed rather be doing either.
I wonder, what would Dan Rather?
Hell, why would Dan Rather?
For that matter, who is Dan when he Rathers?
Sometimes I wonder where this stuff comes from.
But I would rather not be wondering about it.
Everybody else just rathers away.
While I sit here with rather block.
Maybe I shouldn't rather at all.
Is it easier to prefer rather than rather?
Do people prefer preferring, or do they rather rathering?
Would Dan Rather rather rather?
Rather odd question, that.
I'ed rather not go into that.
It sounds like a complicated bit of rathering,
and I was hoping for a nice, light bit of rathering.
Sometimes, a little rathering helps me sleep.
Now I'll be up all night,
pondering the deep ratherings of the human condition,
as it applies to Dan Rather.
And if he would rather be rathering.
Rather rathers, that is.
