The neoprene cover for the PRS-600 is about the same size as a DVD, but rounded at the corners making it slightly easier to fit in a pocket than a DVD.

The cover fits nicely and gives good overall protection against bumps, falls and dust, but not so much against pointy objects.

At release a number of owners was dissapointed with the cover, but I found it to be functional and nice (although it's probably really cheap to manufacture).

(Note: I upgraded to the The Sony cover with light, but it is wider, and doesn't fit in most jacket/coat pockets, the kindle 3 cover with light is superior in that respect)
