I wouldn't expect there to be many refurbs at this point in time due to the Kindle being so new but that will change.

The only way to guarantee one would be to return this one and then order another but you'll be at the back of the queue and Kindleless for possibly a few weeks.

I've no idea how willing Amazon CS would be to you insisting on a new Kindle if they're replacing it.
