Thanks for all the postings.
Part of me is now hoping that I do not get mine until the new firmware is out (assuming that fixes the problem), so that I can immediately update the firmware rather than become annoyed with it if it starts freezing on me - once cheated upon, it can take a long time to rebuild the trust!
That said, I'm still intrigued enough with the K3 to keep my present order live, rather than cancel and wait for a fix to be released.
