It's only happened twice to me in 6 days. They were both straight after each other and it has been problem free since then. I'm not bothered at all because I know amazon are working on an update to fix the problems. Plus even with those 2 incidents it's a lot more stable than my PRS-300 which used to freeze and shut down all the time.
