Thanks for the quick reply. I have tried both the installer and the manual install, each several times, to no avail.

There is no error message. Nothing happens.

I should note that, when I run the installer, I never see the following dialog:



I also never see any of the subsequent dialogs illustrated in the Wiki instructions. The only dialogs presented are two: to choose the language, and to choose the installation directory. After I pass these, the installer simply reports a successful installation. I click "Done", and it exits.

Once again, this is what a DIRectory of the binaries folder looks like:
