As an EXOPC forum member I was able to preorder the EXOPC Slate. Will be shipped on Oct 15th. Mainly because of the ePub/Mobipocket exclusivity issues with eReaders I decided to leave the world of great screens but with terrible exclusivity issues. With Amazon now offering kindle software options for different devices why are they still doing there best to kill eReaders?

I will now be able to read any book, magazines and newspapers. No matter the format I can install on this Windows 7 Slate. Nice size for PDF's and will have Wifi. Cons are a heavier than the eReaders and may produce some heat but I like the tradeoff.
