Hmmm ... nine out of nineteen reviews don't like their purchase. I would, personally, have difficulty recommending anything so poorly reviewed to this group.
That's just me, of course. I could be wrong.

With a little poking around you can see the reviews of Zagg on kindle devices, past and present as well. Look, I can count too!
http://www.amazon.com/Invisible-Shie...dp/B00154YM3G/ (9 out of 12 - Do not like it)
http://www.amazon.com/ZAGG-invisible...dp/B00209EXWU/ (6 out of 6 - Do not like it)
http://www.amazon.com/ZAGG-invisible...dp/B0021HEJKC/ (2 out of 2 - Do not like it)
I always take Amazon reviews though with a grain of salt.
I just had to call you out on your fanboy'ish posts and it seems that the phrase "What, does this guy work for them or something?" actually rang true for once on the internet. If you do a google search for "Kindle 3 screen protector" this thread is the first one right after amazon links. So the more alternatives the better. Way more than "five" people are going to use this as a starting off point.
No ill blood though. I use Zagg products for their great protection and the fact that they add a grippy surface on my devices. However their optical qualities and properties are not the reason I purchase Zagg. As tested on my iPad, iPhone, Pre, GPS, and gaming devices.
Edit: Here's another alternative from another thread I found:

I noticed Boxwave had a new screen protector available. I've purchased from them in the past and found them to work quite well. The only problem I've ever found with screen protectors is that they're a pain to apply - between the bubbles and dust. After a few minutes of fighting with it, though, it usually works out fine. In the case of the Kindle, the anti-glare protector didn't change the the screen at all; the screen looks just as good as it did before.
Here's the item I'm using: ClearTouch™ Anti-Glare - Amazon Kindle

Eek, reviews don't look great but for $5.05 for both the Crystal and 5 Anti-Glare protectors, I'll try them and report back.
