It's certainly true in the devices that I own. My Sony Reader, iRex iLiad, iPaq Pocket PC, Garmin GPS, Canon camera - all have SD slots, but none support the SDHC standard. I'm sure that there are lots of devices that do support it, but if that is the case I seem to have a talent for buying ones which do not
