Well, when I was reading the unit locked up. I did the reset but nothing changed. I powered off and when I powered back on a message popped up.
" Exceptional internal memory state formatting"
At this point the book I was reading was no longer on the reader. The rest were still on it. I then powered down and back up and then there were no books at all on the reader.
I had noticed that the last few times I used the reader that the book I was reading would not start where I left off and that the font returned to small instead of what I was using,large.
I had noticed that the battery indicator was at half charge.
I use Calibre instead of the sony program.

Is there something I can do for this problem? I travel overseas and in the past have taken a big pile of books with me. I bought this reader to cut down on space but it would be an agony for me to not be able to read.
Are the sony readers not reliable enough for me to trust?
