If you do not strip DRM or do not know how to strip DRM or even that you can strip DRM, the Kindle locks you into Amazon for eBooks with DRM. Sony does not lock you into Sony and if you have access to library eBooks in ePub, you can borrow what you want. You cannot do this with a Kindle.

jswinden, most of your arguments for the K3 are based on stripping DRM/converting. Do you have any significant arguments for the K3 that do not involve DRM stripping/converting? And is there any shop other then Amazon where you can get DRMed eBooks?
