I'm sure others will answer the questions as to where else you can get e-books.

My succinct opinon is that Amazon is a great all-around source. One huge advantage being that you don't have to worry about storage when you remove the book from your device. Amazon stores them for you.

Other places have better formatting on the free books, but it is hard to beat the convenience of buying and downloading the book, solely from the device itself.
