Maybe... but, last Tuesday, I got this message from Kobo: Thank you for your message today. The next firmware upgrade will be l a stepping stone that will need the 1.4 firmware for the upgrade to happen. You would be prompted to download the 1.4 prior to getting the next upgrade available after it.

Anyway I did the upgrade and everything went well. So far, I am happy. Waiting for the ability to jump to a specific page.
