yes I agree, I want a second reader and was considering waiting for that, but tbh I am not sure how committed Sony are to ebooks long term, and it makes more sense for me to stick with the same format, so its another Kindle for me. Price is also an issue as technology does not hold its value, so the price or the Kindle is a big draw, somehow I can't see Sony getting the price as low.
