I think the 505 actually comes off quite well in comparison! :-D
My sisters between them have both the 650 and the 700, which are both still slower but not as much as the 505. But Sony played around with the control buttons, badly in my opinion, so I was never really tempted to upgrade to one of the new Sony's.
I was waiting for the next version when the announced the K3 and decided to switch allegiance.
