There is no way you can get 8000 page turns out of boox at this time. And I don't ususally use the touch screen as I prefer to use the buttons for turning pages anyway and I haven't used wifi in the last few days.

This morning (3rd day) I was down 2 bars. This is so much better than before when I had to charge it every second day. But I'm convinced there is still room for improvement.

Noticed when I get it out of standby it refreshes the screen 3 times. I would think once should be enough.
