Now that I have been told by a few MR members that my screen is faulty, I have set in motion a plan to see what Sony will do.

2. Go to the local Sony Authorised joint with the reader.
They cannot help because the product is not on their list of authorised products.

well I knew that because Sony don't seem to think that Ozzies would want their product.

Now to step 3. Call the customer support line. I will wait for a time that I am feeling more patient, because I know they will think I have two heads talking about a reader.
