Hello all,

As per the helpful suggestion I received upon signing up, I wanted to take a quick minute of your time to introduce myself and say how thrilled I was to find a community built around a new fascination of mine - Mobile reading/The New medium for the literary world.

My name is Joe Keppler, I'm a long time home building professional. I've been fortunate enough to work at nearly every level and position in the industry. But in between all of that, during a pretty hectic schedule, I've crammed in as much reading time as humanly possible.

I am a fan of various genres and sub-genres, but I'd say that thriler-fiction and, perhaps oddly enough, autobiographical non-fic are my most obsessed over genres.

Somewhere along the way, many years ago, I began to write my own short stories. I think my desire to write manifested itself from being inspired by so many great writers as well as my rising need to tell some of the "stranger than fiction" stories that I experienced on a daily basis in the home building world.

I've already taken up enough of your time, so I'll just mention this briefly: I am completely taken with the idea of e-readers in all of their shapes and forms. This is a wild thing for someone like me to admit out loud however, because I could certainly be counted among those that swore allegiance to the physical, traditional print medium. But thanks to some excellent conversations I've had with people about all that this new medium could mean and afford to all of the fantastic, as-of-yet undiscovered writers, I am happy to say that I am a complete convert.

I look forward to discussions with all of you about the "new revolution," and once again, I appreciate your time in welcoming a "newbie."
