Good [insert timezone here] all,

I'm a newbie to ereaders (currently playing the waiting game for my Kindle but ordered it late so it's mid September for me) but not to reading books electronically (mainly via PDFs).

I'm a lover of books, especially fantasy and sci-fi, nothing beats losing yourself in a book to forget about the real world. Unfortunately space issues means that my book collection can't grow much more as I only have limited space to store all my books in.

There are some in my collection I plan to get digital copies off, especially my Tolkien books, over the years I must have owned about 5 copies of the Lord of the Rings, eventually having to retire them when they became too worn out.
