I'm not really sure what defines a "speed" reader but I know that I read books so quickly that an ereader is a necessity. I find it impossible to physically carry around enough books.
One day last week I read while I waited for my son at the physio, had my hair done, waited for a friend to arrive for coffee and then back to school to wait for pick up before the thrill of waiting at afternoon sports training. That was over 4 hours and I finished the first book, read a second book, and then started a third.
Prior to converting to an ereader I would just reread the same book over and over and over.

I can easily press the button fast enough and I no longer notice the black/white flash as the new page appears.
