The Ipad does not NATIVELY support the Overdrive library checkout program. I am quite surprised really, since Overdrive does support the audiobook checkout for the Iphone/Ipod.
That is the sole reason, however, that there is a method to remove the DRM and move the books into ibooks. I have no interest in pirating and selling, or giving the books away. I just want to read them. On my Ipad. So I do.
