[Solved] Reading PDF in lanscape?

Hi,

I recently purchased a Nook and am in the process of converting a number of scientific and mathematical PDFs to a format readable on the ereader. I have had great success by using a number of Windows and Linux tools (pdfedit to crop margins, APdfcut to cut pages in half and JPdfTweak to rotate pages and insert an index). The resulting PDFs are tilted landscape files that usually read quite well on the device.

However, the Nook will occasionally still try to parse text from the pdf file and format the text to its screen (incredibly annoying). This has rendered a few of my books unreadable.

Is there anyway to force the device to read the PDF in the original format, or is there a way that I can convert the PDFs to another format (maybe a rasterized PDF?) so that the Nook will only read these PDFs the way I formated them?
