You're probably in the minority there. The dedicated readers that I know -- I mean people, not devices -- keep their books close at hand, not in storage (let alone throw them out).

I'll be keeping hundreds if not thousands of books on my Kindle. I plan to use it as a reference tool as well as a reader. I also look forward to the pleasure of being able to re-read a favorite book, or parts thereof, on the spur of the moment, wherever I happen to be. I can carry two p-books in my backpack; I can't carry two hundred or two thousand.
