In Canada, Virgin Mobile allows a $100 top-up to last a year, so no worries about forgetting every month or so, and no credit or debit card automatic deductions. I use the 0.30/minute plan, which is cheaper (for me) than $10month plus 0.10/minute... Shows how much I use a cell phone - and i'm thinking of dropping my land line; I think the 30 cents a minute might still be cheaper.
