Besides when we ordered, I suspect the type of shipping makes a difference. For example, I didn't get mine until Friday, but I had left it at two day shipping (Amazon Prime). I wonder if I had paid the extra $4, I would have gotten it on Thursday? Oh well. It took me until 2 am this morning to get it fully charged, recreate my 14 collections, and load the 360 books I had tagged "on kindle" in Calibre, and then sort them into collections (I'm sure if I understood the search feature better, I could have loaded them on the kindle by collection, and then just swept them into the collection. But it was too late, I was too tired, and how long could it take?).I can't wait until tonight - I will curl up in bed, attach my purple mighty brite, and read! I ordered the purple Belkin case, and that doesn't even have a ship date yet, so who knows how long it will be until I can take it outside and show it off.
