Thank you very much Ajax! That is the most objective comparison of these two generations of E-ink.
I think I will wait for the next generation. Someone who saw a prototype at an E-ink booth a few weeks ago reported that it offered a 50% improvement over Pearl, according to measurements done by their engineers (contrast > 20:1).
