You can do lots of things with hemp besides smoke it.

Agreed. Marijuana is a soporific. I've never known anyone who got belligerent because they were stoned, and I know a
lot of people who inhaled.
I don't advise doing anything while stoned that you shouldn't do if you are drinking, but if anything, I see less harmful effects from pot.
