Good to have your company, Magnus. I don't think e-ink readers perform too well with accademic work that requires footnotes, glossary, references, charts or tables.The iPad handles them well in PDF form, but it's bulkier and backlit. There are way and means of getting the best out of books like those you must read, but I'm afraid I'll have to leave that to the advice of those many, many here more expert than I am. Best wishes.
