I'm sorry. It's like your mom telling you that Santa can't make it and he'll be there some time round New Years. Normally I wouldn't get terribly annoyed if I didn't get a package on the exact day promised. (I've only had that happen once or twice in the years I've been shopping with Amazon. They're usually so very reliable.) But this isn't a normal package. I don't know why we're all so amped up. I already have a Kindle, after all. But I'm as excited to get the new one as I was for the first one. I'd be so disappointed if it didn't make it here today.
