Do you know, it's really difficult to get proper Danish bacon here in Denmark - the thick-cut back bacon that you can buy in supermarkets in the UK, (and presumably Ireland), is virtually unheard of here. Mostly it's packs of very thinly sliced streaky bacon, or pieces of streaky bacon - great for making crisp bacon to go with Danish liver pate, but not much good for a bacon buttie with brown sauce. Just one of the many mysteries about living in Denmark!
