I ordered the WiFi only Graphite and a lighted case on Aug 2 at 1 pm eastern time. The case was shipped yesterday. According to tracking it was processed at Phoenix at 8:14 pm last night, arrived in Louisville, KY at 2 am (?) and arrived in Mississauga (ie Toronto airport) at 7 am. Someone will be knocking on my door later today.
In the meantime, overnight, the Kindle 3 itself has shifted to "shipping soon" status which means it's almost certain to be delivered on Monday -- one (shipping) day after the original release date. I mention this because I missed the original batch trachne which was cut off Aug 1 at 8 pm Pacific time, apparently.
(And, the credit card charge has gone through.)
So happy days ... !
