I'm in the state of Sonora. the two closest towns of any size are Obregon and Navajoa. I'm actually in a little village called Alamos. it's a fairly high class area. lots of the really wealthy Mexcians have vacation homes here and there are a few Hollywood types as well. pretty secure here, it's just the traveling that can be an issue
