I usually think that the market should decide, and that the govt should butt out. But I don't think that the govt should allow the use of generic words as model titles.

For example, the Sony Reader and the Augen Book. My objection is based upon the fact that both of these devices are eBook readers.

Suppose someone wanted to compete with Kleenex and called its product The Tissue?
