You don't have to buy your books online through Amazon. You could always go to a bookstore.

I think many people feel that because publishers' costs are less, they should pass the savings along to the consumer. After all, if the price of paper were to go up, publishers would start charging more for p-books.

I'd be curious to see a pie chart that breaks down the costs associated with publishing a p-book.
