The US version will ship with a US adapter. Europeans have to pay extra if they want a "normal" () adapter... So, if you use the US system in Brasil, you don't need to buy anything extra.
Well, I thought that as well, that every Kindle came with a US power adapter, but here's what the international page says:

and:

while the US page says:

So I guess non-US and non-UK users are out of luck.
