wouldn't it make sense that if the device is rotated, the RIGHT arrow becomes the back key or "scroll back" and the LEFT arrow becomes the forward key "scroll forward"???????????
IMHO they left side keys are already backwards , so you idea would Fix the design error.

Hold the device in your left hand:
Now, where is your thumb? Near the page "Backwards" key .
Why make the user reach over the back key, with the added chance (happens frequently to me) of bumping the wrong direction?
