Really? I have always been able to drag files while copying. That's weird.
Activesync works well enough for almost everything, but if you're wanting to do stuff like copy a whole album of mp3s from your computer to your memory card, it'll go 10x faster with a card reader. I used to be able to do that when my card reader worked.
