Kindle collections sounds great - any other of the devices have the ability to put your books into "folders"?
Project Gutenberg unfortunately doesn't really have a lot of what I'm looking for.
I agree the auto-generated ePubs can be a mess, but their readable with minimal editing (from what I've seen, just fixing headings throughout to make a good TOC & the slower process of pulling the footnotes out, which could be a REAL headache if a book is almost half footnotes, but in many should cause little time lost in prep).
+1 for Sony being able to turn pages with a naturally placed button.
Cross platform sync is somewhat of a long shot wish.
I already buy everything from Amazon, so that's where I'd likely go if I did buy books (ultimately, where ever is cheapest though).
