HTML, TXT and FB2 parser versions V2.00.100304, so I assume it is whatever was in the March/April FW. Not sure how to tell what version of CoolReader it might be.

Attempted to do TTS, but since I never use it, not sure exactly what I was doing. I dropped some Guttenberg .txt files onto my SD card, and after opening one, there was no "English Speaking" option. Perhaps it needs to be some other file type?

However, I did find that "XPDF" has nothing to do with TTS, lol. Took me a while, and a search of the forum, to find that XPDF doesn't work with pdf (DRM), and to also find the instructions to open the PPro manual.pdf to clear it.

Not to stir the pot, but it occurred to me that upcoming FW updates were one of the things Robert kept us aware of. Of course, if Solicitous is correct in his assumption that Astak will no longer be issuing FW updates due to Astak/factory issues, then there would be nothing for Robert to tell us. Perhaps the factory "has recently required a break for health reasons", as well.

Naw. you don't have to laugh. My wife is always telling me that if I were half as funny as I think I am, I'd be twice as funny as I actually am.
