I doubt we'll see prices drop that dramatically. If anything we'll start to see the competition drop some of their prices to either dump products that are no longer competitive or match $140-$150 price point that the kindle is pushing.

If you really want a kindle you should probably just pull the trigger. Think of it this way: even if the price drops by $20, you're still only paying $20 to have the kindle for five months. If you're saving on buying ebooks vs. regular books, then its likely you've come out ahead for those five months anyway.
